Auxiliary Mission Statement:
To support Penderlea Fire Department in all endeavours including but not limited to fire and service calls, community outreach, fundraising and event management. Another primary goal of the Auxiliary is to build and foster a sense of community with the membership and their families through various programs.
Auxiliary Membership:
The auxiliary shall be comprised of any member of the community with a desire to volunteer their time to the aid of Penderlea Fire Department in a capacity other than firefighter.
The auxiliary shall meet once a month, on the 4th Monday at 7 p.m. at Penderlea Fire Department in the Day Room.
There shall be an elected governing board, comprised of a President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer. The Auxiliary shall operate under Penderlea Fire Department and shall report to the Executive Council (Chief and Assistant Chief). The Auxiliary will maintain its own accounts and disperse earnings to the Fire Department for various projects when funds are available.
